Simply the Best Tips & Tricks for Everyday Life
If you own Comcast Limit Basic subscription $14.95/month (i.e. I only needed basic local channels), you’ll noticed that your HD signal for local channels are gone. WTF?!?! According to local rep, they want you to get a new digital tuner and upgrade to the $44.95/month plan. And you’ll go “no way”!!! This is annoying because since they delivered HD for more than 6 months and you got used to them, and now boom it’s gone without proper explanation. As a result, I decided to find a better solution…
After consulting several people in the know, we realized a HD antenna is all that’s needed. However, I wasn’t going to take the advice literally and went on a quest to research an above average antenna for our use. After testing a couple of different make, we concluded the TREK HDTVa is the best of them all.
Firstly, TREK is a well known brand in the field of television antennas. They produce quality antennas that other brands seek to copy. Secondly, for just $35, a relatively cheap solution, the TREK HDTVa provided 40+ HD channels, compared to only 23 with the old Comcast limited basic before they went belly up on us. It was an easy installation and small enough not to intrude on alot of spaces next to the TV. With this, I can tell Comcast “bye bye”…I got much more for less!
