   This is exactly what my facebook script does. It only broke because of changes made by facebook when they added the chat feature.

   Thx Mike, sometimes it’s one thing to write a script and run it, others may find it interesting to know exactly how it’s done behind the scene. It takes more work but you get to know the secret sauce. And in case when scripts stop working when they upgrade, which happens all the time isn’t it?

   Looks awesome! But am I the only one having problem with the web sniffer? As i enter the “ingredient”.. I dont get a download request, insted
   shows up.. And pisses me off!
   Plz help =)

   For me, it downloads the video, but it makes it all weird and doubled… and colored differently… and it has no sound… I don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong… plz help…

    Shucks! “Source” doesn’t open at ALL when I click on it (I use IE).. I think they (Facebook) has rooted out the problem.. “properties” doesn’t shed any light on anything, either

    PS: Meant to add this.. I have always been able to download the video, and have a little tool to convert it to another format (e.g., flv to .wmv or .avi) but there is NEVER any sound associated with any of them, even the original .flv .. I’ve hunted codecs ’til I’m blue in the face.

    Good tips and I managed to download the mp4 without installing any software or scripts whatsoever.
