Simply the Best Tips & Tricks for Everyday Life
If you’re like me who gets lot of email, it’d be nice to be able to quickly file the emails away without doing a ton of drag and drop (e.g. if you use Outlook you’ll know what I mean? my hands are shaking after filing 500 emails into their respective folders). Fortunately if you use Yahoo Mail like many are, here’s a much easier way to do this…
Yahoo Mail provides a nifty shortcut. Simply highlight the message you want to file, and press ‘1′ for the first folder in your list of mail folder. Press ‘2′ if you want to file it under the 2nd folder and so on… Yahoo will file your message based on the order of the folders on how it’s being sorted A-Z, 1-9.
To make your life even easier, another hint for you is perhaps name your folders with a prefix of ‘1. ‘ ‘2. ‘ (e.g. 3. Internet Passwords). That way, it will be easier for you to focus on the filing by noting the number in front of the folder. Otherwise, you will have to pay extra attention and count the folder order…
Leave a comment if you have something to say… cheers!
