The Hong Kong Lego User Group (HKLUG) has joined in the Olympic fad by making their own Beijing Olympic venues: The Lego Sport City. According to HKLUG’s blog: 300,000 bricks and 4,500 mini-figures have been used to create this lego landscape.

I don’t know about you but I am absolutely amazed at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic. It was simply the coolest opening ceremony ever!!! However, when I go to different press sites to review the photos after seeing it on TV, they’re usually too small or not enough pictures to do justice to the whole events. And so, I spent sometime to surf around for the best pictures taken for this special event, and as many pictures with the best quality I can find to cover the entire ceremony. And they’re all here below.
Each of these are at least 850-1000 pixel in width, so they’ll display very nice on your desktop. Not to mention they’re crystal clear!!! For example, you can click on this 1st picture below just to get a taste on the size of the rest of the images.
