The purpose of this tool is allow Oracle DRM administrators or consultants to build hierarchies from a flat file (with parent-child) relationship. Why this tool?

  1. DRM requires a very custom and specialized formatted flat file for hierarchy import and this is not a popular file format.
  2. Even if an import can be done, when you want to import multiple dimensions into the same version, you cannot.
  3. The native import skips transaction logging making it a risk of potentially SOX non-compliant.
